Entre la lista de asistentes del Ibex 35 a Davos figuran Josu Jon Imaz, consejero delegado de Repsol, que intervendrá en un panel sobre la transición energética. Estarán también la presidenta de Banco Santander, Ana Botín; el presidente de BBVA, Carlos Torres y el consejero delegado de la misma entidad bancaria, Genç, Onur; el consejero delegado de Naturgy, Francisco Reynés, y el presidente ejecutivo de Ferrovial, Rafael del Pino.
El consejero delegado de Cepsa, Maarten Wetselaar, participará en una sesión sobre la transición energética y qué es necesario para garantizar el acceso a servicios asequibles y soluciones sostenibles. Asistirán también al Foro Económico Mundial este año el consejero delegado de Siemens Gamesa, Jochen Eickholt, o el Alto Comisionado para España Nación Emprendedora, Francisco Polo.
Por su parte Galán intervendrá en un panel sobre la reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero mientras que Álvarez-Pallete será uno de los ponentes sobre la sesión del futuro del trabajo y cómo impactarán la transición verde, los avances tecnológicos y la reorganización de las cadenas de valor en los próximos cinco años.
Más allá de los asistentes españoles, una representación internacional de alto nivel está asegurada con la presencia de la presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula von der Leyen, la presidenta del Banco Central Europeo, Christine Lagarde, el secretario general de Naciones Unidas, Antonio Guterres, o la directora gerente del Fondo Monetario Internacional, Kristalina Georgieva.
Asistirán a la cita el canciller alemán, Olaf Scholz. También la secretaria de Trabajo estadounidense, Marty Walsh y la representante comercial de Estados Unidos, Katherine Tai, aunque no su presidente, Joe Biden.
